"Frost" - SAMPLE
Written by Raven Demonosia Moonstoen

Snow covered the ground, frost embracing everything with its light kiss. No stars lit up the sky and yet the moon was full. A blue, so dark it almost appeared black, made the moon glow an eerie light.

Then she saw him. Partly cover by the snow, blood pooling around him. Kneeling by his side she reached a trembling hand out to him. She nearly jumped out of her skin when he moaned. He was alive. Swallowing hard, eyes wide, she spoke.

"I'm going to get help. I'll be right back."

"Stay." he whispered.

Leaning in close, her ear near his mouth, "What? I could not hear you."

Rolling onto his back, a grin wide on his face, eyes swirling a color so deep they match the sky, "I said, stay." his voice heavy with malice.

Stumbling back, landing on her ass, she screamed out. In seconds he was on his feet and lifting her off the ground.
